School Crest:
A generous gift to the school from the Alum Association in 1993, our traditional crest features the gold doe that is a proud symbol of York House as a school for girls.
The York Rose signifies the founding Principal's, Lena Cotsworth Clarke, city of origin: York, England.
The school colours of green and gold are the background for the York Rose, which is set in a Canadian maple leaf.
The open book is the symbol of scholarship featuring our secondary motto, "Onward and Upward."
