Junior School Campus Visit for New Students

Dear Parents of "new" Junior School (Gr. 1-7) students, 

 

Welcome to the Junior School! We are so very excited that your daughter will be joining us next year at the main campus. This year’s Grade 1 students have put together a welcome video for you to enjoy!

 

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 Health and Safety protocols, we have been unable to offer campus in-person visits this term for our new students and families, as we are required to keep the learning groups separated from each other. 

 

As the students will be a part of next year’s school community, we are anticipating that we will be able to offer a visit before school starts on Thursday, September 9, 2021. This will enable your daughter to meet her homeroom teacher, visit her classroom, see who is in her class, and enjoy a Junior School campus tour. That way, the first day of school will feel more familiar and less daunting. Your daughter may come in her civvies or play-clothes. 

 

The visit will be as follows:

Date: Wednesday, September 8th, 2021
Time: 2:00-3:00 pm

Location: Meet on the grassy knoll near the main Junior School reception; entry will be at the Junior School gate on West 26th Avenue. 

Parking: If you are driving, we suggest that you park on Alexandra Street, north of King Edward Avenue. Out of respect for our neighbours, we ask that you not park anywhere along West 26th Avenue or Nanton Street (west of Alexandra Street).

Parents: To reduce congestion we ask that only one parent bring their daughter and that they wait for her off-site for the hour’s visit.
