Q & A

What advice would you give your high school self about the path that you've chosen?
Worry less. Regardless of your path, you will get to your final destination!

What was the one thing/person that most influenced the career you have now?
I have always been very lucky to have worked for good people. However, I would say that my first manager and the support he provided and vision he instilled in me has been extremely influential in my career.

What is the most valuable career advice you have received?
If you work hard and plan ahead, you can get anywhere you want to be.

What is the most important thing that you learned at York House that has helped you to succeed in your career?
The work ethic that I developed at York House has been instrumental in allowing me to reach my current position. As well, the school’s motto of “Onwards and Upwards” always motivated me to reach for the stars and never give up.

What’s your most vivid memory of your time at YHS?
I was always very involved in student life — from sports to the student executive and ambassador programs (and everything in between.) Overall though, the many hours I spent in our gym practicing and playing volleyball, and throwing around a frisbee on the lush green grass fields of St. Georges with “Tight” were the most memorable.
