Grandparents' & Grandpals' Day: Thurs. April 6

We are so excited to be once again hosting Grandparents’ & Grandpals’ Day in-person this year! York House School recognizes the vital role that grandparents and grandpals play in the lives of their grandchildren. This event will give you time to connect with your grandchild(ren) and celebrate your relationship together! We hope you can join us for this event.

New for 2023:
The Little School will be hosting their own program this year which will take place at the same time as the Main YHS Campus program. Transportation from the Main Campus to the Little School will not be provided.

Schedule for Grandparents' and Grandpals' Day
 
Main Campus:
  • 8:45 am: Reception in Gail Ruddy Foyer 
  • 9:45 am: Presentation in the Odette Tognetti Theatre
  • 10:25 am to 11:50 am: Junior School classroom visits
  • 10:30 am: Senior School grandparents visits
Little School:
  • 8:30 am: Reception in Shared Play Space followed by a presentation
  • 9:30 - 10:10 am: Little School classroom visits
Parking available as follows:
  • Main Campus: The two lay-bys on West King Edward, adjacent to the school. Out of respect for our neighbours, please do not park on West 26th Avenue.
  • Little School: Please do not park on the east side of East Boulevard (in front of the school). The west side of East Boulevard is available for parking. Please respect the traffic signage around the school so that we can keep strong relationships with our neighbours.

If grandparents are unable to attend, they are welcome to send a greeting to their granddaughter(s).
