City-Led Open House
Location: YHS Cafeteria
On Monday, April 3, the City of Vancouver will host an Open House at the school to seek input from our community and surrounding neighbours regarding our recent rezoning application.
In December 2016, York House School applied to the City of Vancouver for a rezoning of the school property, which supports our proposed YHS 2030 Master Plan. As part of their public consultation process, approximately two weeks in advance of the Open House, the City of Vancouver will distribute their own invitation to the local neighbourhood and will place signage regarding our application on the school property.
Focused on education, the proposed YHS 2030 Master Plan provides a long-term view of our learning spaces that will give us the potential to offer greater breadth of programming to our students.
The feedback that is provided to the City at this Open House will help to determine City staff’s recommendations to City Council in the coming months.
We encourage you to attend this Open House, anytime between 5:00 and 8:00 pm, to complete a comment form and share your support.
