Introducing the Head's Book Club
Read Along With Our Student Executive

Our book is The Emotional Lives of Teenagers: Raising Connected, Capable and Compassionate Adolescents by New York Times bestselling author, Dr. Lisa Damour. Her book is designed to help parents understand their teenagers’ intense and often fraught emotional lives—and how to support them through this critical development stage. With clear, research-informed explanations alongside illuminating, real-life examples, The Emotional Lives of Teenagers gives parents the concrete, practical information they need to steady their teens through the bumpy yet transformational journey into adulthood.

I’m excited to hear our students’ perspectives as they lead us through the book. Dr. Damour will join us for our final session.

To participate in the book club, please pick up this book at any local bookstore or online and start reading! To make it easy to participate we’re going to run our club virtually over the lunch break.
