Dr. Wong has also worked as the Co-medical director (psychiatry) of the BCCH Provincial Eating Disorder program, consultant to the BCCH tertiary ADHD clinic, and consultant in the Compass Line program for mental health questions around the province. She also works in a specialized school program in the community and has a private practice working with elite athletes and performers, and is a consultant to the Canadian Sport Institute. Dr. Wong holds an appointment as a Clinical Instructor in the UBC Department of Medicine.
On a more personal note, Dr.Wong is a York House alum and former National Field Hockey Team Captain who draws on her diverse background of experiences in theatre, music, international athletic competition, and, most significantly, her experiences as a daughter, sister, mother and wife to her work. More recently, Dr. Wong has started an organizational and personal coaching practice, and incorporates Brainspotting into both her psychiatric and coaching practice to help facilitate performance goals for performers in any field.
