The Parents4Parents Webinar Series is a new initiative designed to share the extraordinary skills and talents of the parents within our York House community. We are pleased to launch our first Parent4Parents webinar with YHS parent (daughter Lillie is in Grade 2) Mike Desjardins who will share best practices for how to successfully work from home.
In his 60-minute experiential webinar, Mike will share tips for creating boundaries in your day-to-day tasks, how you need to lead and rethink team meetings, as well as highlight the areas that people commonly struggle with when they are working from home and how to effectively overcome these challenges. From technology to empathy, meeting structures and building culture, you will learn the practical tips that you can apply right now that will make a significant difference in your success in working and leading from home.

About Mike Mike Desjardins is CEO of ViRTUS, a top leadership development and strategic planning company in Western Canada.
A graduate of UBC’s Sauder School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce, Mike has spent the past two decades transforming businesses. From entrepreneurial business to large public companies and public-sector organizations, Mike has focused on driving a return on investment in every client engagement.
In June 2002, Mike was invited to join the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and was President of the Vancouver Chapter for 2007/2008.
