Meaningful Experiences and Connections
Being a Yorkie is a journey of self-discovery—which includes growing to know yourself and your impact on the world around you. York House exists Not for Ourselves Alone, empowering you to become a caring and confident global citizen.
One of the ways we do that is through Community Learning—an active process of making intentional connections in our community and beyond. From our annual Spark Day to partnerships with local nonprofits, you’ll explore new perspectives and build strong relationships in your time here.

Shape the Future You Want to See
We’re committed to showing every Yorkie the power of their voice—and teaching them how to use it. Instead of telling you what your future should be, we equip you with the tools to shape it for yourself. We’ll immerse you in the complexities, challenges, and beauty of the real world so you can step boldly into it. From more traditional roles in student government to peer-to-peer tutoring, you’ll have the opportunity to build the self-awareness, agency, and empathy to become a courageous leader.
