Career-Life Connections

Career-Life Connections (CLC) courses are the stepping stone to life after high school—a chance for students to explore a subject or industry that piques their interest outside of the York House curriculum. With mentorship and guidance from alums and field experts, Yorkies drive their own Capstone project and participate in Work-integrated Learning (WIL) to set them up for future success.

Teacher Advisory Groups

Senior School Yorkies connect with teachers and peers in daily Teacher Advisory Group (TAG) sessions. These small groups cultivate and strengthen an authentic sense of belonging through meaningful conversations and one-on-one guidance from a dedicated Teacher Advisor. TAGs serve as a space for check-ins, announcements, and the honouring of commemorative events, as well as time to celebrate special individual accomplishments.
