Used Uniform Shop Sale

Dear York House Parents,
 
The YHS Alumnae Association’s Used Uniform Shop Sale will take place this Thursday, September 3rd, 2020 from 9:30 am-1:00 pm. 
 
It will be held in the amphitheatre, outside the Gail Ruddy Foyer. Enter the Junior School on West 26th Avenue, proceed past the playground and take stairs down to the amphitheatre.
 
In order to abide by strict health and safety guidelines, you will need to make an appointment in advance to attend. To make an appointment, please call Sylvia at 604-736-6551.
 
Appointments are 15 minute time slots. Please read the following instructions carefully prior to arriving at the school:
 
All shoppers will be required to answer the following questions as part of our health check procedure:
  • Are you feeling unwell?
  • Do you have any respiratory symptoms that are new for you?
  • Have you travelled outside of BC in the last 14 days?
  • Have you been notified by public health that you have been in contact with a COVID-19 case?
  • Have you attended any gathering that has been identified by Public Health as a risk for COVID-19 transmission?
If you answer yes to any of these questions you will not be allowed to visit the school. Please do not come to the sale if you are sick or feel ill.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance.
  • Masks are required for everyone.
  • Physical distancing is required at all times.
  • Try-ons will not be permitted.
  • Purchases can be made by cash or cheques made out to the YHS Alumnae Association.
  • Bring your own shopping bag to carry purchases home.
  • Please keep items separated in bags and wash thoroughly at home.
All proceeds from the uniform sale go towards the YHS Alumnae Scholarship Fund.
