York House School is pleased to present an evening with Rob Miller from Proactive Coaching LLC. Each year, Rob travels across North America to speak to parents, coaches, and young athletes about creating character-based team cultures, providing a blueprint for team leadership, training coaches for excellence and significance, developing confident, tough-minded and fearless competitors, and the supportive role parents play in their development. Proactive Coaching founder, Bruce Brown, has presented at York House in the past.

Rob’s evening presentation will focus on how parents can best support their child in athletics or any high commitment activities, including academics. Recognizing the increasingly active role parents play in their child’s programs, Rob outlines how parents can best serve and support their child.

The next day, Rob will also be presenting to our Senior School students as part of our Career-Life-Connections program about life lessons for athletes. In keeping with our YHS values, this presentation examines and defines many core values that are important for success in school, athletics, and in life.

This event is open to our parent community as well as all West Point Grey Academy, St. Georges School, Vancouver College, Crofton House School, and Little Flower Academy parents. We look forward to seeing you at this very important and educational evening. RSVP here
